In the year 2010 Apple Inc has signed an
agreement with Caltech spinoff Lquidmental technologies that gave rights to
Apple so that they can upgrade the Liquidmetal’s alloys for consumer use in
electronic goods.
Apple was successful in implementing
liquidmental’s alloy in the SIM card eject tool in iphone 3G, but there is no
surety that this product has further being used in any other material. There
were numerous patents that were being published and the patents contain
Liquidmental alloys.

Apple has made use of Liquidmental alloys
as in substrate for touch sensors that are found in Apple’s iOS devices. Thus
with using this product apple has created more enhancement to its own devices
and touch screen performance has increased and giving user a better vivid experience.

The Good news is with the use of powerful
alloys by Apple the strength and resistance of the hardware would be increased.
The best usage and performance enhancement would be found on the touch sensors
Thus Apple has being granted with a patent
to use a flexible wrap around display.
