Lenovo has introduced
two Android computers, The Lenovo N308 and the ThinkVision 28. Lenovo has
revealed its all-in-one Android computers targeting for customers who want to
experience Android on big screen.
Features of Lenovo N308
- It has 19.5-inch 1600x900p display with Android version 4.2.2.
- It has 2 GB of RAM and customers can choose between a 320 GB or 500 GB 5400 RPM hard drive and an 8 GB or 16 GB SSD for fast boot.
- It has NVIDIA Tegra 4 SoC processor.
- It has Google Play support and HD webcam.
- It has 1.3 inch thin AIO with super sized tablet and comes with a full sized wireless AccuType keyboard and mouse.
- Its battery life is of three hours.
- This Android computer has a 19.5-inch LED screen with a two-point touch input.
- Other features include: built-in stereo speakers, a 6-in-1 card reader, 2 USB 2.0 ports, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, an Ethernet port and a 720p webcam. It also has a light sensor and a G-sensor.
- N308 Android Home Computer has a perfect balance of desktop PC performance and the simplicity of a tablet.
- You can easily sync apps and data across Android devices.
- The desktop will arrive in February in both black and white options with a starting price of $450 USD.
Features of Lenovo ThinkVision 28
- The Lenovo ThinkVision 28 touch screen smart monitor has an impressive 28-inch screen with 3804x2160 resolutions (4K).
- The screen also has 300 units of brightness and has 10-point multi-touch capabilities to boot.
- The ThinkVision 28 has a 5 ms response time.
- It has NVIDIA Tegra processor, 2GB RAM, 32 GB storage, microSD and Android KitKat 4.4.
- There are also a range of connections and ports that you’d expect any smart display or TV these days, including HDMI, USB, audio, Display Port, and Ethernet.
- The ThinkVision displays do offer something unique. With the touch of a button, the displays can act as an Android hub, utilizing the internal 32 GB storage and expandable with a microSD card.
- The monitor’s adjustable stand allows you to tilt the monitor back, so that it can touch with a flat surface. This provides more comfortable experience when using this as an Android device.
- The ThinkVision 28 is expected to be launched in July with a price tag of $1199.
A question still wandering in my mind, if Android belongs
to the Desktop world or is it best to leave it for smart phones and tablets?
