It was surprise day on Tuesday as iOS version of Google was being revealed. In this week only the up gradation would be made.
So now finally the wishes are coming true.
So, What are the new up gradations in Google glass?
1. iOS compatible
The IOS user can use the MyGlass app. It is now being available on the App store
2. Lock screen is now available, no more Guest mode :
The screen lock would be activated whenever the power is down, or you have removed from your head, if you have enabled the head-on-detection enabled in settings.
The wandering thing is how would you unlock a device without a screen lock?
But with touch-pad it would take number of swipes.
As the screen lock was implemented, google thought guest mode was no more useful and thus they have completely removed feature in XE12.
3. Want to have a SNAP, wink please ;)
In XE12 the user can have click just with a Wink of your eye. Google terms this as an “exploratary”, feature. So now Wink to get Click.
4. Google Play Music :
In XE 12 user can swipe with the playlist created by them, play Music’s on “My Stations” or try the amazing part “I’m feeling lucky” on radio station.
4. Hangouts:
Google is incomplete without this feature. In XE 12 you can have a video calls plus you can send and receive chats along with photos. With this feature, Google glass grabs the best ever device for communication.

The above are the highlighting and most awaited features which are being delivered by XE 12, apart from the above feature it has YouTube, you can upload videos directly to the you tube channel. With the addition of YouTube there is other feature being upgraded by Google.
It has now removed the signature of “I sent through glass” while sending sms. So now use all over 140 chars in the sms as no more signatures would eat up your chars.
Warning!!
Over heating how would you know this?
No worries, XE 12 gives you warning that it need some time to cool down. The temperature increases if constant streaming or uploading is being taking place.
