The massive of social networking has taken a step to help the needy with raising donations. Facebook has added a new button, ‘DONATE” so that the organizations which work on donations or any charity foundations can get aid via this feature.
When the user clicks “Donate now” , user has
to enter the amount , also the payment information and thus donation would be done immediately .
Additional option to share the non profit’s post with friends list as well by posting or sharing on the wall.
This new stuff can be a godsend when unfortunately disaster occurs or any situation where funds are needed for a sudden relief.Donation would help to non profit organization to make funds rising with less time.
This feature was tested in November and donation was made to Red Cross via Facebook, when the deadly typhoon attacks in Philippines
In that cause the user were able to donate from the notification feeds.
This
feature is being now rolled out by facebook all over. No timestamp to be
implemented on mobile version.
Now non-profit can use technology and raise funds to help the needy.
So for the
users who are willing to help can directly help by just few clicks.
So now for
help its Facebook, Donate and
pay that’s all.
