Even though Chrome
promised it would bring data compression and an automatic translation bar to
iOS a couple of weeks ago, it has not actually rolled out the update until
today. The latest mobile browser release from Google includes a site
compression feature, that when enabled helps to reduce data usage by up to 50
percent, which should theoretically help you to save a little cash on your
monthly phone bill. Besides this, it will automatically offer a
"Translate" button whenever it comes across a page in a foreign
language. Finally, it also has a New Tab Page feature that brings up a
prominent Google search bar having a list of frequently visited sites and
recently closed pages on every new tab so that you can search for stuff that
much quicker.
What's New in Version 32.0.1700.20??

- When you come across a
page written in a language that you do not understand, just look for the
translation bar. Just One tap and the pages are quickly translated for you.
Reduce

up to 50%. Enable this feature and view your savings: Settings > Bandwidth
> Reduce Data Usage.
The
New Tab Page update to make searching faster and easier
- This feature is being
rolled out and will be available to all users as soon as possible, beginning on
the iPhone.
Stability
/ security improvements and bug fixes
