Gmail - No more clicks on “Display Images Below”

Friday, December 13, 2013

Tired of checking the images by clicking on the above text, right? Google has taken care of us and removed the efforts of clicking on the above text on every mail. The above thing of text “Display image” was added because to save user from unknown sender who can use images to compromise with the security of your PC or mobile device.

Gmail - No more clicks on “Display Images Below”

Hence now Google would cached all the images and thus embedded images would be save on Google and it would be loaded from Google’s cache rather than a third part server which was process done prior to this.

So would there be virus in my mail?

No, worry not its Google, all images would be checked for the harmful virus and malwares, Google has put up its own proxy server instead of any third party server.

Still not OK with this?

For the user who doesn’t want to display images directly they can chose an option of “Ask before display” in the settings tab.

Now Google has given a simple path to display images directly and thus secure also as it has own server. With the growth of Google they are providing up gradation too, which helps user to get a quicker and safer view.

No more clicks on “display all images”.

Available on desktop version of Gmail from Thursday and would be tapping soon into mobile apps in 2014

No Clicks, only View.
