What’s new with IOS 9.3?



Before official released of IOS 9.3 users can also use the beta version which is available on Apple site, you just need to visit http://beta.apple.com from your IOS device and download profile which would help you to get the hands on beta version. 

So what does IOS 9.3 brings in for Apple Users?


Here are some of the highlights regarding password protected notes, more or less changes in personalized news app experience and the most exciting is night mode. Let’s have in-depth look over these features. 

Night Shift View

While its night time and you want to adjust your brightness accordingly as per your eyes, Apple has come up with new update in this IOS 9.3 which helps user to automatically adjust night view mode. As per sources Apple has stated “Because of many studies over bright blue light exposure has cause damage to circadian rhythms and thus makes it harder for the person to fall asleep at night”. Smart way in update is you can also schedule your night shift settings.

No, there is no new menu item being added this night shift is additional feature to Display and brightness screen.

Notes secured with Touch ID

Your emotions, feelings or some random thoughts are always there on notes and you don’t want any of your friends or relatives to have a look on to notes nor on the title of the notes. In this update you get your notes protected with password or Touch ID. You can easily add this by traversing through Settings>Notes> Password protection. Either you enter a password or use Touch ID

This won’t protect the overall notes app but this would only protect the notes which you have selected. Here are the steps
·      Open a note
·      Click on the share icon arrow button
·      Select pass protected option
·      Enter password to protect your note
Now whenever you access the note, you would be asked for password. That’s IT!!

News App Redefined

With minor UI and interface changes news app is updated with IOS 9.3. As per your interest in topics like business, finance, technology news engine would suggest you articles. You can also view article directly from the news feed without opening the particular article. When it comes to iPhone, users can also view the same content in landscape mode also, it will allow you to check preview of article before you want to read it actually.

Additional Quick Actions

This is only update for the users who are having 3D Touch series of Apple iPhones. Owners of 6s and 6s plus can gain access to a mini menu over the application. Mini menu would include the basic app shortcuts as per app basics features.

Example Settings app would have: Battery, Wi-Fi, Wallpaper, and Bluetooth in mini menu.

With the debut of IOS 8 Apple launched health app which helps in calculating heartbeats, steps, calories and lots more. It can also integrate with any third party health gear device.
