LG G-Flex in India, Shall I Buy it ?
Flexible screens and curved display are the new battleground for phone makers as the screens open up possibilities that can eventually transform the Smartphone market.

Key Features:

Processor:          Quad-Core 2.26 GHz Snapdragon 800 MSM8974
RAM Memory:      2 GB LP DDR3 RAM
Memory Inbuilt:   32 GB
Android:             Android OS, v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean)
Display Size:       6.0" (HD Display)
Touch:                Yes

Special Features:

QuickTheater, Answer Me, KnockOn, Self-Healing Back Cover, Slide Aside, QTheater, Dual Window, Urgent Call Alert, Swing Lockscreen, Face Detection Indicator, Camera Timer, Ergonomic Curved Design, Swing Lock Screen, Dual Window.

Design:

LG has got it right with the design of the G Flex. It also feels more ergonomics when held against the ear to make calls. The new Smartphone fits very warmly into the palm, much improved than the conventionally designed handsets

The display of LG G Flex has HD (720p) resolution and measures 6-inch diagonally. Though a 720p display seems obsolete today, when 1080p screens rule the roost, we are all right with the display quality.
The pixels are not packed together as firmly, still the presentation understanding is still very good and much better than that of other rulers.

Camera:

A 13MP rear shooter with LED flash is present on this device to assist you with your photography desires. There is also a 2.1MP front-facing camera for video calling function.

G Flex sports a 13MP rear camera on the back, which is just like LG G2 and photos we clicked at the launch event were attractive high-quality, but did not match the G2's camera performance in terms of details.in addition to it, the G Flex camera also reproduced precise colors and level the low-light setting of the launch venue, there was no sound.

Hardware:

The G Flex is packed with a giant 6-inch display with a resolution of 1280x720 pixels; it is an OLED curved Display. The vertical axis on the device play an important role for enhancing the display and is expected to provide improved audio transmission over the call. It has 3,500mAH battery which keeps the device powered up for long. The phone measures exactly 160.5 x 81.6 x 7.9/8.7mm. This device also has a self healing back cover which by design heals from the minor scratches.

Price:

LG G Flex has been priced at INR 69,990 (MRP) and will sell for a finest buy price for INR 66,900. The first stocks of the phone are made-up to arrive in the next couple of days, so we can expect accessibility next week.

Indian Market:

This is in stroke with LG’s earlier announced availability of February 2014 because of high-pricing, we don’t see many customers opting for the phone; it will remain a position device and it will only attract few buyers, who want to be the first consumers to get their hands on a Smartphone with curved display.

This trendy gadget will give competition to Samsung, As Samsung is ruling in the market with range of series headsets. LG has to stand on mark to attract more and more consumers.

Verdict :

The handset's 'self healing' feature is not as well developed as it seems to be on paper. While the phone easily repels and even fixes minor scratches like the kind that come when it is placed in a bag with a set of keys, deeper, more deliberate scratches moreover fade or don't heal at all.
To summarize, too big to use next to the ear for making phone calls and its curve doesn't seem to be making matters any better. The handset is not the easiest one to seize and use for basic telephony.
