Well,
it seems so as Samsung has reportedly worked on the new User Interface of its S
Health Application which if to be believed on the leaked screenshots
shows new fonts, icons and design for the UI. Samsung has totally re-worked
this app’s features for its next version smart phones. Like the existing
version, the new S Health seems to be able to track your amount of calorie taken,
step count and heart rate. And the screenshots show a section for connected
accessories too which includes scales, treadmills and exercise bikes. There is
also a new screen for running, allowing you to view the location and workout
data alongside whatever music is currently playing. The "audio guide"
option suggests some kind of automatic verbal feedback too.
Like
the Healthbook of iOS 8 that would
monitor and store metrics of fitness Samsung is in a mood to give a strong
competition to Apple. The new and improved S Health app has a white-on-green
color palette with larger, lighter and flatter icons and paid attention to
Android's design guidelines. The leaked screenshots show a cartoonish UI
theme on all the home screen panels. According to the leaked screenshots, the
alleged redesigned smart phone UI will include apps like dialler, SMS,
Internet, Gmail, PlayBooks, Samsung Hub, S Health, Play Store, Gallery, Maps,
Samsung Links and S Memo and many more. Further, the leaked screenshot for lock
screen also show that the UI might offer users an option to browse through
various updates which are similar to the HTC's BlinkFeed UI.
Samsung
has magically changed the look from the TouchWiz UI running on top of Galaxy Android
smart phones to a comparatively smarter UI. Some of its screen shots show the use of slide-out "hamburger" menu bars and
overflow action menus at the top of the screen. But it would be too early to judge the
application with its leaked screen shots.
Let’s wait and watch till
Samsung reveals it officially.
