The wait has ended, Google has launched it’s much awaiting Kitkat mobile OS. It is well enhanced to fix old OS fragmentation problem. This would be running on all new coming Android phones. Android 4.4 will deliver immersive experience to user along with Google’s extended services.
However Nexus 5 didn't appear with kitkat. Galaxy nexus has completed 2 and half years of existence in market and has always entertained users, but none of the Galaxy nexus device would be receiving update for the Kitkat version. Born in 2011 has received 4.1, 4.2 and 4.3 updates.
One more variant of Nexus family has 4.3 update. Sprint Galaxy Nexus will adapt to 4.3 update which has minor updates. Apart from that Google added that Galaxy nexus won’t able to part of Android’s 4.4 families.
Switching on to other editions of Nexus 4, 7 and 10, Google has announced Android 4.4 Kitkat update in the upcoming weeks. As the update would be on Air you would get notification for the same. Google’s play edition devices like Samsung Galaxy S4 and HTC one would be getting 4.4 update in next week. Android 4.4 is better as new apps like phone, Google cloud print, updated downloaded apps, easy switching on the home screen, multi-tasking with high end performance over both the tasks and many more to be included.
